5678 Film Club was a three-year project that supported young people making the transition between primary and secondary school in Collingwood, Melbourne.
It ran as a weekly after-school film club where Polyglot Theatre and professional filmmakers undertook creative workshops with participants from Grades 5 – 8.
This was a short animation as part of a longer short film 'Drop It Vs. Evil' that I co-created with a group of young people during the 5678 Film Club project. They came up with the story and characters and then drew the images, which I put together in this animation, which was voiced by one of the students.
