5678 Film Club was a three-year project that supported young people making the transition between primary and secondary school in Collingwood, Melbourne.
It ran as a weekly after-school film club where Polyglot Theatre and professional filmmakers undertook creative workshops with participants from Grades 5 – 8.
For this project for Polyglot Theatre we made a web series over two terms. I facilitated the development of the series and the activities as well as overseeing three different animations utilising the young peoples' ideas, drawings and voice acting. For this project I used a combination of Adobe After Effects and Character Animator.
I also recorded and produced several music tracks for the video which were used in 'dance-off' 'rap-battle' sequences.
